Patricia Sanders Obituary

The daughter of Virginia and Guy O'Connor of Keyser, West Virginia, she was born October 7, 1930. Pat is survived by her daughter Betsy Sanders of Corning, California and her son, Mark Sanders and his wife, Derilene, of State College.
In addition, she leaves two grandchildren, Chelsea and James Sanders.
She enjoyed a long career at the Pennsylvania State University as a professor of plant pathology, with hundreds of publications of her research to her credit.
Her passion in life was travel and she visited nearly every destination on her life list. When she was not traveling, she was planning trips, meticulously researching sites and routes while savoring and anticipating her plans.
She will be missed.
