Patricia Ann Sarbacker ObituaryFlorence – Patricia Ann Sarbacker, affectionately known as "Granny", 79, of Florence, Wisc., passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2025, in Iron Mountain, Mich.
Patricia was born April 30, 1946, in Beloit, Wisc., daughter of the late Orton and Ruth (Bird) Day.
She centered her life around family and friends. Patricia always remembered her loved ones and acknowledged everyone's birthdays and other special events. She loved to stay in touch via the phone with those she loved. Patricia loved decorating her home for each holiday. She also loved her collection of chickens and cooking meals during the holidays. Her family was very important to her, and she provided a nurturing home for her children.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Leo Sarbacker; daughters, Brenda (Michael) Grossenbacher, and Julie (Raymond) Thomas; grandchildren, Justin Badertscher, Jennifer Thomas, Stephanie Baker, and Sierra Thomas; brothers, Jerry Day, and Glenn (Ruthann) Day; sisters, Marilyn (Steve) Hildebrand, Becky (Brian) O'Connor, Mary (Roger) Dickison, Linda (Jeff) Kopke, and Janet (Clayton) Norder, and many good friends as well. To know her was to love her.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Donald; sister, Betty; and grandchildren, Vanessa Sue Badertscher and Travis Charles Sarbacker.
A celebration of life will take place on August 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at One O One Bar and Grill in Florence, Wisconsin.
