Patrick FOSTER Obituary
Patrick Allan Foster of Spokane died on June 30, 2025, after a long but courageous battle with osteosarcoma and pulmonary fibrosis. Patrick was born on Oahu, Hawaii to Alice Sohn Foster and Bill Foster. After moving to the mainland in 1956, he grew up primarily in Napa, California. Pat got training in computer programming and completed an associate's degree in electronics at Napa College. After driving a cab and being an auto mechanic, he landed a job at Apple Computers where he stayed until 1992. While on vacation in Mexico he met Margaret Dale, and they married in 1993. Pat and Maggie have two wonderful children, Anna Lee Foster and Benjamin Brock Foster, both of Spokane.
In 1999 Pat received his bachelor's degree and teaching certificate from Gonzaga University in General Studies with emphasis in Special Education. After that, he was employed at Eastern Washington University as Director of a Computer Lab in Modern Languages until retirement in 2014. However, Pat's most enriching work came from his avocation of guitar building at which he excelled. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 27, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00, at the Hamilton Studio, 1427 W. Dean. In lieu of flowers, friends may consider a donation to the Fibrous Dysplasia Alliance or the Hospice of Spokane.

On behalf of everyone at the FD/MAS Alliance, I would like to express our gratitude for considering our work in memory of Patrick. It is a profound and meaningful tribute, and we are deeply honored by your generosity during this difficult time.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Patrick´s passing. I can only imagine the depth of your loss, and my thoughts are with you. Though I did not have the privilege of knowing Patrick, his memory will surely bring hope and impact to those affected by Fibrous Dysplasia and McCune-Albright Syndrome.

Sending love to my cousin Pat´s family. He was such a great person inside and out. We hadn´t seen each other for quite awhile but chatted a bit on Facebook at times. Pat will be missed.
