Publish in a newspaper

Patrick E. Mayer, a longtime resident of Land O'Lakes, WI passed away suddenly on June 28, 2025. He was born to Brannon Sr. and Annette (née Heilman) Mayer on May 2, 1960 in Wauwatosa, WI.
He then grew up with his three brothers on Big Lake of the Cisco Chain where his parents owned BranAnn's Colonial Resort. He moved to Colorado before returning to the Northwoods and married Christine Sauter and they had three children.
He was employed at Nagel's Lumber Co. for years and moved on too many skilled jobs including masonry, building houses to welding and eventually did what he loved to do most, finding old treasures and recycling metal.
He loved playing guitar, telling stories, spending time with all of his family, laughing with friends and offering a helping hand while finding the little joys of life. He loved all of his nieces and nephews beyond words.
Patrick was a loving husband to his wife Christine (née Sauter) Mayer, an amazing dad to Katie (Chris) Plude, Patrick and Nick Mayer and a fun loving brother to Mark, Mike and Brannon Mayer.
He will be tremendously missed by all of his family.
A memorial service will be at 3pm on Saturday July 26, 2025 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
