She met Richard Joe Bridge, and they were married on November 15, 1958. Joe and Pat made their home in Lubbock, Texas. In October of 1963, Pat gave birth to a son, Jerry. They moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1965. Then moved to Nowata, Oklahoma, in 1974. Pat found her passion for babysitting coaches and teachers' kids in Nowata. During summer months Pat worked for Doc Williams Veterinary in Nowata. In 1982. Joe and Pat moved to Barnsdall, Oklahoma, and they lived there until 1999 when Joe retired. They then moved to Mangum, Oklahoma, and then on to Manitou, Oklahoma. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tipton, Oklahoma.
Joe and Pat loved to go camping and travel all over the country. Pat was a great housewife. There wasn't anything she could not cook from scratch, except for deer meat. Dad joked you could gravel a dirt road with her deer meat. She loved to crochet and do needle point. In their spare time, they enjoyed square dancing. Pat was an active member of her local church no matter where she lived. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and knew him as her Lord and Savior. Pat always had a smile to share and was never at a loss for words. Joe and Pat were married 57 years until Joe passed in 2016.
Our Heavenly Father reached down and grabbed Pat by the hand and took her home on October 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son: Jerry Bridge of Catoosa, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews,
She is preceded in death by both parents Clyde and Myrtle, her husband Joe Bridge, one brother Dearyl Queary, sisters Murlie (Queary) Watson, Jean (Queary) Coffman and Glynna (Queary) Crawford.
The world will be a lesser place without her, and we will miss her dearly. Heaven definitely gained an angel.
