Patsy Ruth (Hall) Damron, 72, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 3, 1953, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Patsy was the beloved daughter of Haskell Evans Jr. and Leola Jean Cornsilk. She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Elmore City High School in 1971. She continued her education at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, earning her degree in 1977. On May 16, 1972, Patsy married the love of her life, Gary Eugene Damron. Their marriage was one built on humor, resilience, and deep love-filled with laughter, especially from Patsy's favorite pastime: lovingly harassing Gary. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Patsy pursued a fulfilling career in medical records and health information management, touching lives at institutions such as Oral Roberts University, Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri, and the University of Texas at Tyler. Above all, Patsy was devoted to her family. She had a special gift for spoiling her grandchildren and never missed a chance to shower them with affection. Her warm heart, witty spirit, and caring presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Patsy's legacy lives on in the lives she touched through her work, her family, and her unwavering kindness. Pasty is survived by her husband, Gary Damron of the home; Sons, Nathan Damron, Robert Damron and Samantha; Daughter, Tia Crowe and husband Richard; Brother, Brian Evans and wife Sandra; Sister, Sondra Brashier Davis, Judy Damron; Grandchildren, Ryan Crowe and wife Sadie, Amber Crowe, Keith Edmond, Riley Damron, Jordan Damron, Raigan Polak; Aunt Nell; and a host of other family and friends. Pasty was preceded in death by her mother, Leola Jean Cornsilk; Granny Sunday, Aunt Faye, and Aunt Evonne. Services for Patsy will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Methodist Church in Elmore City, Oklahoma with Joe Terrell and Caroline Lovett officiating. Visitation for Patsy will be on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Wooster Funeral Home in Elmore City, Oklahoma from 9:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
