Patty Enderson of Havana, ND passed away October 5, 2025 at Four Seasons Healthcare, Forman, ND.

She was born on June 15, 1934 at Fletcher, OK to Phil and Gusta (Christian) Kuntz. She attended Apache school for two years before attending Happy Hollow country school until the 8th grade and then graduating from Elgin High School. After high school, Patty served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1954. On October 24, 1953, she married Arvin Enderson in Pascagoula, MS. In 1954, they moved to Havana, North Dakota where they farmed and raised their family. Patty worked at Weber's Grocery Store and later McKeevers from 1990 to 1996. She was also a substitute bus driver for Arvin and helped on the farm. Patty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Havana and was on the Havana City Council for ten years. She was a Legion and Auxiliary member both in Havana and Wyndmere.

She was adept at quilting and had made a quilt for each of her children, grandchildren including all the great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and would can or freeze vegetables & fruit for winter meals. She enjoyed visiting & playing cards with her friends, in her later years going to the casino (where she was quite lucky at winning money or prizes), and spending time with family.

She is survived by her five children, Gail (Marcus) Anderson, Wyndmere, ND, Wanda (Dale) Maixner, Minot, ND, Glen (Reeann) Enderson, Wahpeton, ND, Sherri Enderson, Tecumseh, OK and Marc Enderson, Wyndmere, ND; ten grandchildren, Dana Anderson, Laura (Rudy) Dotzenrod, Alicia (Marshall) Anderson, Bret (Jessica) Enderson, Brock (Brandi) Enderson, Brita (Preston) Prochnow, Jeffrey (Caitlin) Froseth, Jeremy (Cassie Olson) Froseth, Cameron (Marie) Enderson and Cayla (Marcus) Mahrer; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by her funeral at 10:30 a.m. at Wyndmere Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Patty's service will be live streamed below.
