Paul Crovo Obituary
Paul F. Crovo of Haymarket, died peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Spring Oak in Warrenton, VA. He was 79.
Paul was the beloved husband of 55 years to Sharon Luty Crovo.
Born in Passaic, NJ he was the son of the late Charles and Edith Trapani Crovo.
Known for his infectious humor and constant singing, Paul brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He was a lifelong fan of the New York Giants and proudly stood by his team. He had a deep love for both Disney and opera, seamlessly switching between belting out arias and humming Disney tunes, usually with a smile and a laugh -and often crafting his own songs that would get stuck in your head for days.
A proud Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and carried that pride with him throughout his life. In his younger years, he played football in high school and went on to become the first college graduate in his family, earning his degree from Bloomfield College. He built a successful career in finance, where he was respected as a thoughtful leader and trusted professional.
Paul had a particular fondness for cars. He loved driving something new and was often on the hunt for his next set of wheels. He was a true animal lover, loyal friend, devoted husband and father, and a grandfather who absolutely adored his grandchildren. Above all, he loved his family more than anything. And of course, he enjoyed relaxing with a well-made Manhattan in hand.
In addition to his beloved wife Sharon, Paul is survived by his loving and devoted daughters Darby Golec and her husband Jon of Warrenton, VA and Linsay Larson and her husband Peter of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his four loving grandchildren Juliana, Courtney, Briana and Landon, his sister Marie Bolsch (George) and their children.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:30am in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road Newtown, PA 18940. His interment with Military Funeral Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
