Paul E. Garrison, Jr., 64, of McAlpin passed away at home on July 2, 2025. Born on September 29, 1960, Paul spent his life rooted in the place he loved, called home. He worked many years for Georgia Poultry, where he was known for his knowledge and dedication to the area's farmers. Paul had a gift of bringing joy and laughter to everyone he met. His sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A lifelong fan of the Florida Gators, Paul proudly cheered on his team in every season.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Garrison, and his children: Shasta Hilyer (Lodge), Tracy Kerby (Robbie), Elizabeth Olson, Cy McKinley (Kelli), Cansas McKinley, and Cade McKinley. Sisters: Paula Gail Beach (David), Deland, and Delilah Smith, Mayo. Grandchildren: Braxton, Peyton, Kamryn, Hudson, Halleigh Mae, Emerson, Cooper, Aleina, Darci, Bobby, Tuff, Miles, Morgan, and Finlee; Great-granddaughter: Parker James. He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Adams, Father, Paul E. Garrison, Sr, and Mother, Adred Stangel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Pinemount Baptist Church in McAlpin, Florida. Brother Charlie Sexton and Reverend Louis Medaris will officiate. Interment will follow at Crawford Lake Primitive Baptist Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday morning from 10:30 until service time at the church.
