Paul Rosenberg Obituary

Paul Alan Rosenberg, age 59 of Tripp, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Paul was born on August 25, 1965, to Gary and Jo (Stout) Rosenberg in Nebraska. Paul spent his childhood in California and Washington. It was while living in Washington, that Paul fell in love with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping whenever he could. Paul spent a couple of summers fighting forest fires with his dad and learning a lot about conservation. Paul graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1983. In 1987 Paul moved to South Dakota and called the state home for the rest of his life.

Paul had a unique sense of humor and was always trying to make people laugh. In Tripp, Paul met the love of his life and spent all the time he could with Caroline.

Paul enjoyed auctions, selling produce and meeting people. He loved old country music, old westerns and comedies.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and older brother, James. He is survived by sisters, Ruby and Tina; brother, Mark (Nancy); fiancé, Caroline and 2 nephews, Tom and Todd.
