With deep love and sorrow, the family of Paula Corona announces her passing on July 10, 2025. Born on June 30, 1930, Paula lived a long and meaningful life marked by strength, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
She was the beloved daughter of Francisca Landeros Constancio and Enemencio Constancio, and one of thirteen siblings - ten sisters and two brothers - with whom she shared a lifetime of love and connection.
Paula was the devoted wife of the late Hector Corona. Together, they built a life centered around faith, family, and community. She was a loving and dedicated mother to Rosa DeLeon, Oscar Corona, Bertha Aguilera, Hortencia Jennings, Sylvia Allen, and Hector Corona. She was preceded in death by her cherished children, Agustin and Paula Alaniz.
Paula's legacy continues through her large and loving family. She was blessed with 21 grandchildren, over 25 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren - each of whom carries a part of her spirit forward. Her love, strength, and wisdom will live on in their lives and hearts.
To know Paula was to know compassion, generosity, and quiet strength. Her home was always open, her heart always full, and her presence a source of comfort and peace.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
The mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 W. Garza St, Del Rio, Texas.
The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Paula, please visit our floral store.
