Paula (Yacobucci) Gove

Paula Gove 78, of Stow, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, born on November 26, 1946.

Paula lived most of her life in North Akron and graduated from St. Vincent-St. Mary in 1964. She worked for Rays Drug Store in downtown Akron before starting her career at CSEA (Child Support Enforcement Agency) in Summit County where she ultimately retired from.

Paula was a loving wife to Jim, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed camping, car shows, Prince, shopping trips, puzzles, playing cards, Yahtzee, CSEA wine nights and anything and everything that involved her grandchildren. She and Jim were always up to camping and all road trips that led back to nights around the campfire both together and with friends.

Paula loved her family and cherished any time she had with them. She was always present at any milestones and sporting events and loved her special conversations with her grandkids. She had many names Mom, Grandma, Mommo, G-Ma and PZ to name a few.

Her crazy sense of humor, her goofy jokes, her genuine kind heart, willingness to always listen and her contagious smile will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

In addition to her husband, Jim Gove, she is survived by her children, Joe (Andrea) Yacobucci, Annette (Steve) Marble, Jimmy (Leanne) Gove. Her extended family members, Marianne Yacobucci, Bill Gove, Sandra (Matt) Schwab. Grandchildren, Anthony (Jordan)Yacobucci, Jimmy (Addison) Gove, Stephen Marble, Seth Yacobucci, Skylar Marble, Jake Gove, Joshua Gove. Great Grandson, Kaden Yacobucci. Fur baby Brutus and many nieces and nephews.

Paula was welcomed into heaven by her parents Ann & Frank Gerbetz, Joanne Yacobucci, Bill & Betty Gove. Brother and sister-in-law, Denny (Cheryl) Gerbetz and her many fur babies that have gone before her.

Special thanks to those who touched Paula's life. Her dear friends from childhood, camping, car shows and the CSEA girls all meant so much to her.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Paula's Life will be held Sept. 13th. For details, please reach out to her family.
