Pearl Gammage-Johnson, 93, of Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2025. Born on August 3, 1932, in Powell County, Kentucky, Pearl lived a long and fulfilling life rooted in faith, family, and kindness.
A devoted Christian, Pearl was a faithful member of Dover Shores Baptist Church in Conway, Florida, where she worshipped and served with steadfast devotion. Her faith was the foundation of her life and shone brightly through her love for others, her generosity, and her ever-present warmth.
Pearl was a gifted hair stylist for more than 50 years, working for a company based in New York while serving her loyal clients in Florida. Her dedication and passion for her craft earned her numerous accolades and awards throughout her long and successful career. More than her professional achievements, she will be remembered for the joy she brought to everyone who sat in her chair and for the friendships she built over a lifetime of care and creativity.
Pearl is survived by her loving husband, Bo Johnson; her son, Larry Gammage; her daughter, Lana C. Clark; her grandsons, Mike Malone (Nicole) and Shawn Clark (Danielle); and her great-grandson, Colton Crosby Clark.
Her gentle spirit, her laughter, and her faith-filled heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
