Born on December 4, 1954, in Aiken, South Carolina, Pearlie Mae carried the spirit of her roots throughout her life, touching the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her.
Pearlie Mae was known for her unwavering love and the light she brought into every room. Her laughter resonated with joy and her compassion for others was unmatched. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel valued and understood, whether they were a lifelong friend or a passerby. Pearlie Mae's strength and resilience served as a source of inspiration to many as she navigated life's challenges with wisdom and grace.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her remarkable life. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, Georgia, 30901. The funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Bean Pond Church, 437 S Hankinson St, Jackson, South Carolina, 29831. Pearlie Mae will then be laid to rest during an interment ceremony following the service at 3:45 PM at the same location.
As we gather to remember Pearlie Mae Sheppard, let us carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Her beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts as we cherish the memories we created together.
