Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, Pedro was the beloved son of Santiago and Maria (Cruz Alavez) Perez-Cruz. He built a full and meaningful life rooted in both hard work and a deep connection to the land. He owned property in Allegany County, North Carolina, where he cultivated Christmas trees and enjoyed the peaceful pastimes of hunting and fishing-activities that reflected his appreciation for nature and solitude.
Pedro is survived by his devoted wife, Merenciana, and their children: Jose Perez-Cruz (Rud), Daniel Perez-Cruz, Minga Perez-Cruz, Saul Perez-Cruz, Elizabeth Perez-Cruz, Santiago Claver Perez-Cruz, Juan Perez-Cruz, and Jose Jr. Perez-Cruz. He also leaves behind his siblings: Pedro Simon Perez-Cruz, Francisca Perez-Cruz, and Cristina Perez-Cruz, along with many cherished grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. A viewing will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Lawnside Cemetery.
Pedro will be remembered for his deep love of family, his connection to the land, and the legacy he leaves behind through his children and grandchildren.
Pedro Claver Perez-Cruz, de 73 años, residente de Pilesgrove, Nueva Jersey, falleció el 3 de julio de 2025.
Nacido en Oaxaca, México, Pedro fue el querido hijo de Santiago y María (Cruz Alavez) Perez-Cruz. A lo largo de su vida, construyó un legado lleno de trabajo duro y una profunda conexión con la tierra. Era dueño de una propiedad en el condado de Allegany, Carolina del Norte, donde cultivaba árboles de Navidad y disfrutaba de la caza y la pesca, actividades que reflejaban su amor por la naturaleza y la tranquilidad.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Merenciana, y sus hijos: José Perez-Cruz (Rud), Daniel Perez-Cruz, Minga Perez-Cruz, Saúl Perez-Cruz, Elizabeth Perez-Cruz, Santiago Claver Perez-Cruz, Juan Perez-Cruz y José Jr. Perez-Cruz. También le sobreviven sus hermanos: Pedro Simón Perez-Cruz, Francisca Perez-Cruz y Cristina Perez-Cruz, además de numerosos nietos y un bisnieto.
Familiares y amigos están invitados a los servicios fúnebres que se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 9 de julio de 2025 en Adams Funeral Home, ubicado en 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. La visita comenzará a las 12:00 p.m., seguida del servicio a la 1:00 p.m. El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Lawnside.
Pedro será recordado por su profundo amor a la familia, su conexión con la tierra y el legado que deja a través de sus hijos y nietos.
