She leaves behind three children, Jamie Proffitt & husband James of London, KY, Charles Burton of Indiana, McKayla Gay & husband Chase of London, KY; her brother, Herman Rice Jr. of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Audrina Burton, Brantley Burton, Grayson Bowling, Eden Bowling, Memphis Bowling; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Annie Davidson Rice; and by her brother, Harrison Davidson.
Peggy found joy in the little things-especially in the hunt for treasures at yard sales and vendor malls, where she loved to spend her time browsing and visiting. Her warm spirit and down-to-earth nature made her a joy to be around. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family has trusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
