Peggy Joan Gregory, 87 of Atwood, passed away at 8:40 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Family Services will be held at the Cartwright Cemetery at a later date.
Peggy was born on October 7, 1937 in Tuscola, the daughter of Clifford V. and Bertha May Foster Benner. She married Ronald L. Gregory on April 8, 1955. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2014.
Survivors include her son: Danny (Sandy) Gregory of Atwood, grandchildren: Ryan Gregory of Atwood and Krystal (Andy) Miller of Morton, great-grandchildren: Violet, Tate, Olivia and Molly, step-grandchildren: Matthew Fairbanks of Geneva, Melissa (Shannon) Valentine of Champaign and Joshua (Amy) Fairbanks of Oak Park, step-great-grandchildren: Samantha, Kaitlyn, Jack, Eleanor, Wesley and Josephine, numerous special nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Peggy was a member of the United Church of Atwood. Peggy formerly owned and operated the Style Inn Beauty Shop and she enjoyed bowling.
Memorials may be made to the United Church of Atwood.
