Peggy was a graduate of Stet High School. In addition to being a devoted housewife and homemaker, she worked for Price Candy, Shirkey Leisure Acres, Liberty Hospital, and North Kansas City Hospital. As a skilled CNA, her compassionate nature and caregiving skills extended beyond her professional life, as she lovingly cared for her husband for 30 years following a debilitating stroke.
Peggy had a happy-go-lucky spirit and a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. She loved to travel, especially when surrounded by her family. Her ideal road trip involved a scenic countryside view from the back seat, a bag of fresh French fries in hand, and the warmth of her loved ones nearby.
An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Peggy found peace in the sunshine and had a lifelong love for animals. Her last beloved pet, a cat named Jake, was raised from an abandoned kitten and lived for an incredible 23 years.
Peggy's kind soul, unwavering strength, and gentle nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
