Cherryville - Mrs. Peggy Miller Houser, 85, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.
Mrs. Houser was born on November 29, 1939 in Cleveland County a daughter of the late William Matthew Miller and Argel Minnie Mull Miller. She retired after 30 years as a teacher for Lincoln County Schools. Mrs. Houser was a member of Reeps Grove United Methodist Church and served as a former Sunday school teacher.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Parmer Junior Houser and a brother, Carroll Miller.
Survivors include her two sons, Terry Houser of Decatur, GA; Blake Houser of Cherryville; a sister Kay Beam of Cherryville. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:45PM to 1:45PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church in Vale.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church with Dr. Jonathan LeMaster-Smith and Rev. Gary Fulker officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Reeps Grove United Methodist Church, 7401 Reeps Grove Church Road, Vale, NC 28168.
