Gueydan, La. - A Funeral Service Officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan honoring the life of Pervis "Peewee" Miller, 37, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at his residence.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Miller and companion Phillip Looney; his father, Wilson Miller Sr. and companion Tracy Mathews; his companion Jennifer Jochum; his sister, Lainey Kratzer and husband Micheal Kratzer; his brothers, Wilson Miller Jr., Winson Miller, Clint Romero, Trent Romero, Brent Romero; his stepbrother, Tyler Wheat; his children, Savirra Gotreaux, Layne Miller, Colton Miller, Madrice Miller, and Jolie Bourgeois; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Erana Martin, and Pierre and Maydrice Miller; his brother, J.J. Calvert Miller; his son, Elijah Miller; and his niece, Paislee Miller.
Pervis lived most of his life in Gueydan, La. He loved hunting, fishing, rodeoing, riding bulls, and riding and working cattle. He loved spending time with his kids, family, and friends. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He loved to clown around wherever he was. He will always be remembered by his big radiant smile and kind-hearted soul. He will be missed dearly. We are confident in knowing he is walking with his savior and loving father. His soul is free. Until we meet again.
