Troy Johnson Obituary

Los Fresnos, Texas - Troy D. Johnson, aged 75, peacefully passed March 5, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. He was born in San Saba, Texas on December 12, 1949, to the late J.A. "Jay" Johnson and the Mary Louise Wagner Johnson.
He attended Fort Worth College where he completed his studies in Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. Troy then received his HVAC license. He later studied and received his real estate license.
He was a self-employed carpenter for forty-five years before his retirement. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, going for walks on the beach, tubing, and shopping flea markets.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Mary Louise Wagner. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Troy Don Johnson, Carol Johnson, and Vicki Alexander; grandchildren Madison, Megan, Carol, Michelle, and Rachel; one great-grandchild, Macy; and close friend, Jimmy Bedwell.
No local services are planned.
