Phyllis Mae Middleton, age 84 of Kingston, peacefully passed away at Markesan Resident Home on July 9, 2025.
Phyllis was born in Kingston on March 29, 1941, daughter of Harry and Mabel (Hoeft) Plagenz. She lived a life marked by simplicity and a deep commitment to her family. For 13 years, she worked at Del Monte, but her heart truly belonged to her role as a stay-at-home mom, where she dedicated herself to taking care of her loved ones.
Phyllis enjoyed a simple lifestyle at the family homestead in Kingston, where she found joy in the little things. Phyllis had a passion for fishing in her earlier years, creating memories spent by the water. She also found joy in playing bingo and immersing herself in arts and crafts, where her creativity shone through.
Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Middleton and Beth Peckham; two grandchildren, Corey Anderson and Brooke Anderson; further survived by friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Merlyn Peckham.
A private service will be held.
