Phyllis Williams Obituary

Phyllis Mae Williams, age 87, of Delaware, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2025 following injuries from an auto accident and her loving family by her side. She was born on May 12, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Mary Wright Stracke. Phyllis was a 1956 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. She had several different jobs, but was best known as a Real Estate Broker of Phyllis Williams & Associates Inc. Phyllis was a long time member of Bellpoint Community Church, sang in the choir and was on different committees throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, entertaining grand and great-grandchildren, golfing and playing Mahjong and dominoes. Phyllis was also a big fan of the OSU football team.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Kelly) Williams of Delaware; nephew (other son) whom she raised, John (Laura) Wells of Ashley; grandchildren, Matthew (Brooke) Williams, Jeremiah (Alex) Williams, Johnny (Kristen) Wells, Christian (Jenny Robson) Wells and several great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Steve) Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Ginger.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her mother and husband, Gerald "Jerry" Williams whom she married on April 14, 1957.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Bellpoint Community Church. Funeral service will be Friday at the church starting at 7 p.m. with Rev. Paul McCullough officiating.
