Phyllis Williams Obituary

Phyllis Jo Williams, age 85 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was born in Russellville, Kentucky on December 2, 1939 to the late Sam Pillow and Mary Mackey Pillow. She was a RHS graduate and had a Bachelor of Science degree in food and nutrition from Ursuline College in Louisville, which is now Bellarmine University. She was a retired Social Worker. She was active in the St. Vincent DePaul Society of her church Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Williams and sister Paula Linton.
She is survived by:

1 Sister ~ Mary LaRue Groft ~ Louisville, KY
6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services for Phyllis Jo Williams will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Mikulcik officiating with burial to follow in Red Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation at Summers and Son Funeral Home will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary held at 7:00 pm., and visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm.
