Rachel Ann Lathem Carthage, MS Rachel Ann Lathem, 78, a homemaker, died Sunday, August 10, 2025, at her home. Visitation is Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 10:00 am Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Eddie Pilgrim, Bro. Stephen Evans, and Bro. Ray Lathem officiating. Interment is in Salem Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lathem was a native of Humphreys County. She was a member of Remus Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charlie Lathem, parents, Woodrow Wilson and Mildred Horn Gardner, and brother, Bobby Gardner. Survivors include 3 sons, Greg (Wanda) Lathem of Arkadelphia, AR, Timmy (Kim) Lathem of Lena, and Tony (Missy) Lathem of Carthage; a daughter, Tammy (Brent) Rhinewalt of Carthage; 8 grandchildren, Chanin & Ellen Lathem, Briana & Lance Freeman, Taylor & Lee Quates, Josh Lathem, Matthew & Jessica Johnson, Blaine & Lauren Johnson, Alex & Drew Savell, Austin & Colby Lathem; 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Woods, Joe Brown, J. J. Brown, Paul Lathem, Trenton Pilgrim, and Austin Byrd. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons.
