She was born September 23, 1940, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Ruth Ann Bowen Hendershot.
She was a self-employed owner/operator of a LR hot dog, Turkey Run Mall Exxon, a Thrift Store and REM case manager.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Galford G. Wadsworth Jr.; three brothers, Ralph Hendershot, Ed "Pete" Hendershot and Jimmy Hendershot; and two sisters, Shirley Duke and Pam Hendershot.
Survivors include her son, Steven (Milessa) Wadsworth of New Martinsville, WV and a grandson. Cody Wadsworth of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Thomas Hendershot of Mansfield, OH; sister, Judy Boyd of Mansfield, OH; two sisters-in-law, Judy Highley of Pine Grove, WV and Maureen Marquette of Reading PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contribution may be made to: Wetzel County Animal Shelter 399 Mollohan Dr. New Martinsville, WV 26155.
Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory New Martinsville.
