It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a remarkable man, Ralphael Irvin Lozier, Jr., fondly known as Ralphael, Ralphie, Rufus, Nerd, Fat Boy, Mr. Asshole, and Mr. Lozier to those who knew him well. Born on the 28th of May, 1968, in Auburn, Washington, Ralphael was a beacon of joy, love, and compassion. He was an adventurous spirit who loved the thrill of hunting, fishing, hiking, combing the beach and collecting Japanese buoys. His passion for life was infectious and he brightened the lives of many. As Erma Bombeck once said, "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'". This quote encapsulates Ralphael's zest for life and his dedication to utilizing his talents to the fullest.
Ralphael was a talented individual, renowned for his numerous championships and MVP titles in Softball. He was not just a sportsman but also a creative spirit. He loved to create beautiful carvings, a hobby that brought him great joy. He was a groundskeeper by profession, working passionately in the tribal business. He was a member of the Shaker Church. Ralphael was a loving husband to Susan Lozier and a doting father to Reuben Smith (Jessie Smith), Trisdin Lozier (Tori Nelson), and Leesa Lozier (Jesus Bennett). He was also blessed with six beautiful grandchildren - Russell Smith, Zeke Lozier, Nakoa Bennett, Kenai Bennett, Makinley Smith, and Omri Lozier.
Ralphael's life was grounded in the love for his family. His bond with his mother Kathryn Perez, brothers Anthony (Amanda), Richard, and Leeroy Lozier (MyNeah Jansen), and his sister Valarie Horsman (Larry) was one of deep affection and mutual respect. Ralphael was a compassionate person, always ready to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or a friendly ear to anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lozier, his step-father, Pedad Perez, and his son Ralph "Jr.".
Ralphael's life was a testament to his adventurous spirit, his loving nature, and his compassionate heart. He will always be remembered not just for his talent but for his love for his family, friends, and his community. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life and the memories he has left behind. The quote by William Wordsworth, "That best portion of a good man's life, His little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love," resonates with how Ralphael lived his life, touching countless hearts with his kindness and love.
In honor of Ralphael, we invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of him on the memorial page. His life was a tapestry woven with beautiful moments and your memories will help us remember and celebrate his wonderful life.
