Randal Durham Obituary

Randal J. "Randy" Durham 50, of Hurricane, WV passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family on July 15, 2025.
He was born on June 12, 1975 in Farmington Hills, MI to Sally and the late James C. Durham II. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents: James (Thelma) Durham and John (Janet) Henderson; and brother, Mike Kolasa.
Randy worked for WVU Medicine Thomas Health as a System Analyst Interface Developer/Integration Engineer. He enjoyed playing guitar, the stock market, outdoors, and farming, especially spending time with his beloved animals. He had an outgoing personality and a heart of gold that would help anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; children: RJ Durham and Victoria Durham, both of Hurricane, WV; step-children: Darren McComas (Zoe) of Everette, WA, Melanie and Mary McComas, both of Huntington, WV; brother, James Durham III of Huntington, WV; step-mother, Jean Durham; step-sister, Duwanna Smith; special nephew, Luke Durham; and several cousins and extended family.
A Memorial Service for Randy will be 2:00 pm Saturday July 26, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, WV with Pastor Jeff Biddle officiating.
Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service.
