Randall M. Lucas, age 77, passed away on October 15, 2025. in St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX. Randall was born April 27, 1948 to Paul and Louise (Morton) Lucas at Sewell Hospital Belton, TX. He graduated from Belton High School in 1966. He served in the Army Band as a saxophone player. He finished his education at Mary-Hardin Baylor College in 1975 with a business degree. He opened Lucas Dental Lab where he made crowns and bridges, working for local dentists. He played country music with friends from Moffat TX called Randy and the Renegades. He enjoyed family trips out West, finding fossils, viewing scenic mountain ranges, and accompanying sons on snowboarding trips. Randy retired to Flatonia, TX where he practiced the piano. He is survived by his wife Kathryn, his two sons, Paul and Jack, his three sisters, Sharon James , Shirley VandeSande, Kai Strobl, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family are invited for a visitation at Smith Funeral Home 128 East 5th Street, Flatonia, TX 78941 on October 25, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
