Randolph "Randy" A. Scott, age 79, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 20, 2025.

Born on April 25, 1946, in Fisk, Missouri, Randy was the son of the late Leonard Scott and Marjorie (Crow) Scott. On July 12, 1968, he married the love of his life, Doris (Tyra) Scott, who survives.

Randy is also survived by his three beloved children: Craig Scott (Kimberly) Annapolis, Mo, Kathy Bowlin (Scott) Ash Flat, AR, and Kristina McDaniel (Mark) Poplar Bluff, Mo; nine cherished grandchildren: Meagan Gonzales (Matthew) Thompson Station, Tn; Skyler Bowlin (Camilla) Aarhus, Denmark; Jordan Pickens Springdale, Ar; Briley Brody (Chase) Horseshoe Bend, Ar; Mallory Brewington (Tanner) Boydsville, Ar; Mary Michaela Scott Arlington, Va; Emily Cheney (Sean) Maryland Heights, Mo; Kaitlyn Shrum (Garrett) Chattanooga, Tn; and Owen McDaniel, Poplar Bluff, Mo; and six precious great-grandchildren: McKenzie Gonzales (9), Luka Bowlin (5), Madison Gonzales (3), Mack Brewington (2), Charlotte Brody (1), Macy Bowlin (1), and Beau Brody (1 month). He is also survived by two sisters: Patricia Scott and Brenda Limbaugh, both of Florissant, Mo.

Randy dedicated over 30 years of his life to education, serving as both a teacher and coach. For 25 of those years, he proudly coached Malden High School Basketball, where his leadership and mentorship left an enduring legacy. His impact on the lives of countless students and young athletes was profound and lasting. Much of his career was also spent coaching the Malden High School Golf Team, a passion he continued to pursue until just three months before his passing. His love for the sport brought him many great friendships in his later years.

Above all, Randy loved his family deeply. After retirement, he devoted his time to being with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren - moments he cherished dearly.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Byron Beck officiating. Interment will be at Ash Hill Cemetery, Fisk, Missouri.
