Randy Utley Obituary

Randy Wayne Utley, age 68 of Caseyville, KY passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. He was born September 7, 1956 to the late Samuel and Florence Utley in Indianapolis, IN. Randy was a dedicated coal miner for 44 ½ years. He was very hard working. Randy was a member of Caseyville Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman who never met a stranger and was very outgoing. Most of all, Randy loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ruby Jane Overfield
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pam Utley; his daughter, Wendy Barnes and companion Steve Belt; his son, Jody Utley and wife Samantha; 5 grandchildren, Finley Marcinek, Jenna Utley, Emma Utley, Christian Hall, and Skyler Hall; 1 great grandchild, Codah Hall; his brother, Billy Utley all of Caseyville, KY; his sister, Susan Howard of Sturgis, KY; a host of nieces and nephews
The service will be 1PM Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Rev. Eric Crowley will officiate. The burial will be in Caseyville Cemetery. The visitation will be 4-7PM Monday and 10AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
