It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Anne Dodd of Rockwall, Texas. Surrounded by the love of her family, Rebecca peacefully entered into eternal rest from her residence on October 3, 2025, at the age of 71. Rebecca was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 5, 1954, to parents Jimmy Joe Dodd and Gloria Dell Herring.

A celebration of life service to honor Rebecca will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home, located at 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, TX, 75087, with Pastor Kason Huddleston officiating.

Rebecca's family kindly invites guests to consider wearing her favorite color - green, or any other bright color to her service. While not required, it would be a meaningful way to honor her memory and would be much appreciated by Rebecca's family.

A reception and time of gathering will follow once the chapel service concludes from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, also at Rest Haven Funeral Home. Rebecca's family would like to warmly extend an invitation to anyone wishing to attend the reception in order to continue in fellowship and in the sharing of memories.

Rebecca's service will be livestreamed for anyone unable to attend in person. The livestream link will be posted here and made available shortly.

Those wishing to send flowers for the service may do so by calling The Flower Box by Rest Haven at (972) 772-3269. Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver arrangements directly to Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, by 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Rebecca's service in a timely manner.
