Regina Werr Dixon, 93, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.
She was born in Glogau Schlesien, Germany and was the daughter of the late Emma Meta Werr and Emil Au'Gust Werr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Rogers Dixon, whom she married on March 18, 1952.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Dixon Harris and her husband, James, "J.R."; her three sons, John Dixon ll and his wife, Delma of Roanoke Rapids, Roy Dixon and his wife, Debbie of Skippers, Virginia and Edmond Dixon and his wife, Cheryl of Roanoke Rapids; eight grandchildren, Jeanette D. Toney and her husband, Dennis, Autumn Rademaker and her husband, Rob, John Dixon lll and Skylar, Doug Dixon and his wife, Jennifer, David Dixon and his wife, Chelsie, Danny Dixon and his wife, Melanie Thomas Dixon and his wife, Melissa and Jacob Dixon and his wife, Kendall and one step granddaughter, Jamie Edwards; 18 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; sister, Brigitta Brunstuhl, Nashville, OH; brother, Karl Heinz Werr and wife, Marie of Orlando, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
