Regino Villarreal Lopez, 85, of Baytown, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas, to Regino Lopez Sr. and Lydia Lopez, and was one of seven children.

Regino grew up in Baytown, where he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Mary Alice, on August 6, 1960. They shared a long and loving life together until her passing. Just one day before what would have been their 65th anniversary, Regino joined her in heaven to spend it by her side.

He retired early from Lubrizol, where he worked as a foreman, and enjoyed his retirement watching Astros games, spending time with family at their Canyon Lake home, and treating himself to Dairy Queen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; Son in Law Gary Lamb; and his wife of 48 years Mary Alice. He is survived by his children, Cindy Lamb, Gilbert Lopez and wife Recona, and Elena Turner and husband Eric; sister Olga Bravo ; brother Henry Lopez and wife, Connie; grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Sean Lamb and wife Rachel Lamb, Morgan Lopez- Guerrero and husband Arturo Guerrero, Evan Lopez, Kaitlen, Erica, Kiley, Elyssa and Eric Turner, Jr.; great grandchildren Levi and Maeve Guerrero and Parker Lamb ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rodger and Velia Medina, Sandra and Luciano Salinas, Michael Medina , and Robert Medina.
