On September 24, 2025, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed peacefully into eternal rest. She lived her life with a heart marked by kindness, generosity, contentment, and a steady spirit that anchored her family and friends through every season.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Jr., with whom she shared a life of love and faith. Together they raised a family rooted in care and commitment. She is also survived by her children: Richard III (Mary), Thomas (preceded in death by his wives Patricia and Donna), Nancy, Stephen, John (Bethany), and Ann (Les).
Her joy multiplied through her many grandchildren: Keith (Jennifer), Daniel (Patricia), MaryBeth (Houston), Richard IV (Kate), Ryan (Loreli), Jessica, David, Brian, John (Cyndi), Georgia, Estelle, Sara (Zachary), Sandra, Eric (Meredith), and Katlyn. She cherished each one deeply and delighted in the blessing of seventeen great-grandchildren, whose lives will continue to carry forward her gentle spirit.
She will be remembered as a woman who gave freely of herself, who found contentment in simplicity, and who approached every day with quiet strength. Her life was a testament to love lived out faithfully in the ordinary and extraordinary moments alike.
“Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 (ESV)
