Rhonda Wilson Obituary

Rhonda Kay Wilson, 63, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 17, 2025, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH.

Rhonda was born on November 23, 1961, in Gahanna, OH, a daughter of the late T. Don and Barbara Jean (Mossman) Wilson.

On November 11, 2017, Rhonda married Ellen Wilson in Findlay, OH and she survives. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Erin (David) Montanye of Baltimore, OH, and Benjamin (Kelsie) Neiling of St. Petersburg, FL, two granddaughters, Emma and Olivia Montanye, and two brothers, Gregg (Lori) Wilson of Homosassa, FL, and Doug (Kendell Sherrer) Henderson of Columbus.

Rhonda was a 1980 graduate of Maumee High School and earned her BA in Art Education from Kent State University. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority, and Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533. Rhonda owned and operated Avenues Toward Independence in Findlay, retiring in 2020. Rhonda enjoyed camping, boating, creating charcoal art, and socializing with friends. She loved her pets, and spending time with her granddaughters. Rhonda had an outgoing personality and was the life of the party. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

A celebration of Rhonda's life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at The Blackhawk Bridge Shelter House from 2-4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Rhonda's memory to Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 1700 E. Sandusky St., Findlay, OH 45840.
