He graduated from Job Corp in 1986. Most of his life he worked road construction. Occasionally he would work in restaurants, he had a talent for cooking.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Antionette Gomez, sister, Tracy Clay, Son, Amadeo Gomez, niece, Krystal Cook.
Surviving is his daughter, Yvette Lucero, Grandchildren, Jesse Lucero, Jalen Lucero, Freddy Lucero, Adalina Gomez, Aaliyah Gomez and Amadeo Gomez. His sister, Debbie Hellner, nephews, Daniel Cook, David Cook and Michael Davies.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home Versailles Chapel.
