It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Richard Brown, who passed away peacefully on June 27at the age of 81.
Born in Chicago on May 20, 1944, Richard was a beloved husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and a wonderful father in law. He brought warmth, wisdom, and kindness into the lives of all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his sons Josh and James ;his daughters-in-law Sarah and Yunuen, who felt truly blessed to be part of his family. He was also a proud grandparent to Jason, Sydnie, Grace and Erin. Great grandparent of Alexandra and Jennie. Fun and caring Papa Brown of Jonah.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, integrity, generosity, work ethic, spending his whole career at RR Donnelley & Sons company, his love for skiing in park city Utah and Lake Tahoe with family and friends, traveling with his siblings, and the strong values he passed on to his family.
Though he is no longer with us, Richard's legacy of love and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, July 11, from 2 to 6pm at Hallowell & James, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A memorial service will follow immediately at 6pm. Additional information: 708-352-6500
