Richard DuBois Obituary

Richard M. DuBois of Hillsboro, Missouri, was born April 30, 1950 in Thayer, Missouri to Wesley and Leota (nee Gaines) DuBois and entered into rest Monday, July 7, 2025 in Hillsboro, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Leota (nee Gaines) DuBois; brother, Darrel DuBois.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Sue (nee West) DuBois; children, Dewy (Colleen) DuBois, Erica (Steve) Reynolds, Shaina (Jeremy Hall) DuBois, Aaron (Nicole) DuBois, Brooke (Justin) Wallis; grandchildren, Morgan, Zachary, Abigail, Madison, Hannah, Gabrielle, Rachel, Shea, Lincoln; great-grandchild, Remington; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Richard was a devoted family man whose love extended deeply to his church, Faith Community, and the work he poured his heart into. A proud workaholic, he founded his own construction company in 1977, R M DuBois Construction Inc., building not just structures, but a legacy of dedication and integrity. When he wasn't working, Richard found joy in cheering on the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals, or relaxing with his favorite Westerns. His unwavering commitment, strong faith, and quiet passions made him a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
