Richard "Dick" Alvin Lee, 89, formerly of Corry, PA, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence in Erie, PA.
He was born on December 20, 1935, in Concord Township, Corry, PA, a son of the late Edward and Nancy (Burlingame) Lee.
Dick was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1952. After high school, he entered the US Army and served from 1954-1956. After his honorable discharge, he attended the Erie Commercial School and graduated in 1960 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He then went on to Grove City College and obtained an associate's degree in accounting and finance. He eventually started working for Associated Springs and worked there for many years until he retired.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Union City, Corry and Elgin. Dick was the founder of Carpenters for Christ and lead many mission trips in Kentucky working to build and fix homes. He loved to help everyone and anyone. He also enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martie (Morris) Lee, whom he married on June 1, 1984, in Union City, PA and five sisters, Mary Ellen Jones, Elsie Baker, Alice Foltz, Agnes Mitchell and Olive Sammons.
Dick is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Dane) Evans of Erie, PA and Lori (Matthew) Palisin of Fredonia, NY; four sons, Steve Nadolny, Craig (Fiancée, Amanda Baron) Nadolny of Youngsville. PA, Dave Lee and Don Lee. He also had several grandchildren, Tim, Dakota and Haley Nadolny, Jacob Koe, Kennedy Northrop, Danielle and Noah Palisin, Doug, Joel and Dane Lee and Korin Hoskinson, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407 on Thursday, February 27th from 10 am until the time of the memorial service there at 11 am. nephew Skip Laird will officiate.
