I was a boy-hood friend of Rich. We both lived in Batavia, I was on the west side, Rich on the east, but we met because we had a friend in common.

In summer, we all played along the river...maybe that began his love of fishing.
His first wife was the sister of another friend of mine, a fellow motorcyclist.

Dennis C Ryan, now of Elburn.
