Richard Whitehead Obituary

Richard Wayne "Dick" Whitehead 39, gained his wings on June 28, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Richard was born on November 16, 1985, in Blountstown, FL later moving to Clarksville, where he began to build his empire. Always working hard to earn his way and to provide for his wife and children. Being that "Certified Hustler" he was, he hustled his way all the way up to owning his own business. A loving husband to Jasmine and a devoted father to their sons. Always there to offer guidance and love to all. He wholeheartedly loved his family, those by blood and those by choice. Richard loved the outdoors, fast cars, and making money. "If it don't make money, it don't make sense". Richard is survived by his loving wife, Jasmine Marie Whitehead, and three sons, Jarvis Carver Whitehead, Jareson Wayne Whitehead, and Jasper Bay Whitehead. Three brothers, Roland Whitehead and wife LeAnn, Frankie Stone II and wife Nikki, Chris Ridley and wife Shannon. Sister, Regina Whitehead. Three uncles, Randy "Red Bird" Pitts, James "Rabbit" Peters, and Sylvester "Jr" Peters. Sister-in-laws, Tiffany Beiler and Lorrie Corlett. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sheila and Gerald McFarland; father, Freddy Whitehead; grandparents, Geneva Pitts and Sylvester "Bay" Peters; uncle, Roy Whitehead; cousin, Ashton Merrit; and brother-in-law, Brian Beiler.

Funeral services to celebrate Richard's life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel located in Blountstown, FL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Central Time, followed by services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at the Whitehead Family Cemetery in Clarksville. Friends and family are welcome to attend and pay their respects. "Money Never Sleeps" that's what he'd say.
