Memorial Services for Mr. Richard R. Wilson will be held 11 am, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Clarke Venable Baptist Church. Visitation will also be held at the church. The family will see friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.
Mr. Richard R. Wilson, age 94, of Decatur died Monday, July 28, 2025.
Survivors:
8 Children: Richard Wilson (Patricia), Ray Wilson (Gay), Debbie Addy (Mike), Tim Wilson (Diana), Neita Lindholm (Ron), Jamie Burnett (Joel), Lori Eickenloff (Curtis) and Mark Wilson (Michele)
16 Grandchildren
32 Great Grandchildren
5 Great Great Grandchildren
1 Brother: Harry Wilson (Sandra)
1 Sister in Law: Ida Ruth Wilson
He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Runell Wilson; his wife, Joyce Wilson; two brothers, Stanley Wilson and Herbie Wilson; one infant sister and one grandson, Cody Addy.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the North American Missions Board. (P.O. Box 116543 Atlanta, Ga. 30368-6543)
