Rickey Ray Foster, 65, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Nevada Regional Medical Center. Rickey was born December 26, 1959 in Kansas City, KS to Virgil Ray and Irish Lee (Griffen) Foster.

Rickey is survived by a son, Cody Foster, Nevada; two step-sons, Lincoln Whaley (Jenni), and Lance Whaley, both of Nevada; two step-grandchildren, Hazen Whaley and Hallie Whaley; a brother, Dan Foster, Wichita, KS; two sisters, Michelle Lindsay, El Dorado Springs, MO, and Shauna Alexandria, Bozeman, MT; and his best friend, John McCane, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his companion, Debbie Crites.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Steve Russ officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
