Word was received of the passing of Rickie Lee Belt, 71, of Lawton, OK on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 in his home.
Rickie was born on July 5th, 1954 in Prince Georges, Maryland. He spent most of his childhood in Maryland, where he got his first job as a paper boy, then in his teenage years, he worked in Ocean City, at a pizza place on the board walk. He moved to Rossville, Kansas to finish out High School, graduating in 1973. Shortly after High School, Rickie Joined the Marines, serving his country for four years. After his time in the service, he moved back to Maryland, and started work as an electrical assistant in the construction industry. Rickie, enjoyed hunting, boxing, running, working out, swimming in the ocean, and especially the Washington Redskins, but what he was most proud of was being a U.S Marine. In 2016, Rickie moved to Lawton, OK to be closer to his sister Angel, and where he spent the remaining of his time. Rickie had a special place in his heart for his family, and especially his sister, for taking care of him.
He is survived by his two sons, Corey and Christopher (Belt) Sublett; a brother, Bob Belt; three sisters, Angel and James Martin, Kerri and Mark Motter, and Terri Reamy; four grandchildren, Halle, Ember, Bentley, and River; nephew, Jakob Motter; his Aunt and Uncle, Bob and Sharon Proctor; as well as many cousins and other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Shirley Reamy; a brother, Michael Belt; grandparents, Leon and Grace Proctor; uncle, Richard Proctor, an aunt, Betty Robey; and several cousins.
