Ricky Wayne Collier, was born on October 1, 1959 in Kingsport to Earl and Phyllis Collier, he passed away on May, 8, 2025 at his home of 28 years in Flag Pond, Tennessee.
Rick spent his childhood in the Boones Creek area, and he was a 1978 graduate of Daniel Boone High School. Rick loved the outdoors and traveling. He spent a lot of his time with his favorite aunt Jackie and uncle Darrell. One of his favorite places to be was Outer Banks, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kim, along with three sisters; Teresa Stratton, Becky Tipton & (Jerry), and Brenda Lynn; five nephews and three nieces.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his hospice care, Gentiva and his nurse Victoria.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, may make donations in memory of Rick to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s's Place, Memphios, TN 38105.
Rick was a man of few words, so in his final wishes he wants everyone that knew and loved him to remember and honor him with smiles and laughter.
The Collier family will receive family and friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday May 13, 2025 at Morris Baker Funeral Home.
