Rita S. Ptasinski, 83, passed away in Blackwood, NJ on Wednesday July 23, 2025. She was lifelong resident of Camden County.

Born in Camden, NJ, she graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Camden. Rita went to work at South Jersey National Bank in 1960 for 25 years and then the Camden County Library until her retirement. She was a devout Roman Catholic and worshipped at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Jude's Church. Rita was a selfless and loving caretaker of her immediate family. She was affectionately known by some as "St. Rita" for always being there for those who needed her most. Rita enjoyed watching baseball and loved good food. We will miss her little giggle and acceptance of all people.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents Walter Sr. and Stephaine (nee Wasiolek) Ptasinski, a brother Walter Jr., a sister Patricia Durham, nephew Vance Durham, and niece Deborah Durham. Rita leaves behind many loving friends, cousins, nephews, and grand nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to any Breast Cancer organizations of the donor's choice, as Rita has donated to over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial visitation on Saturday August 2, 2025 at the GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 South Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
