Survivors include his loving wife, Ramona Ballard of Crab Orchard; two children, Matt Ballard (Kimberly) and Sara Ballard; four siblings, Judy Oaks, Diane Singleton, James "Jim" Ballard (Betty) and Edna Mae Wimer; seven grandchildren, Chrystal Meeks (Peyton), Elizabeth Ballard, Adam Lee Ballard, Autumn Ballard, Austin Hancock, Randy Hancock and Hailey Hancock; and one great-grandchild, Tristan Meeks; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Sue Cunnagin and Mary Lou Rice; and one granddaughter, Angel Bennett.
A one-day service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Reynolds officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
