Shawn Michael Tackett, 28, of West Salem, IL passed away on October 26, 2025 in Noble, IL as a result of a vehicle accident.
Shawn was born May 8, 1997 in Mesa, AZ to Michael and Patricia (Smith) Tackett..
Shawn enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, mud bogging, shooting pool, and hanging with his friends. He always was a helping hand. He had many friends that he loved and that will miss him. He lived everyday his way.
Shawn is survived by his parents, Michael (Mickey) Tackett & Patricia (Pattie) Tackett; his Nana Ellen Smith; his second mom Carol Babbs and family. Also surviving are his brother Matthew (Charlotte) Tackett and nephews Brighton and Teagon and niece Ezmae; uncles Chris (Reyna) Smith, James (Cassie) Smith, cousins Rebel, Presley, Sutton & Wilder Smith; grandfather Gene Tackett, uncles Ron & Brian Tackett and his aunt Tina Hossford.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
