Robert (Bob) Cardenas
Robert Cardenas, 70 years old, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025.
Born on December 01, 1954, in Clayton, New Mexico, the son of the late Nash and Emma Cardenas.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rose Cardenas.
Three Children, Christopher Cardenas (Jonathan Lynch), Samuel Cardenas, and Yanika Valdez.
Three grandchildren, Marcos Valdez, Marisol, and Eric.
Sister Anna and her husband, Jose Torres of Clayton, NM,
Brother Timothy and wife Stephanie Cardenas of Rio Rancho, NM
Niece Andrea and her husband Phil Lucero, two sons, Gabriel and Lawrence, of Clayton, NM.
Niece Vanessa Cardenas, her son Emilio Espino of Houston, TX, and nephew Shawn Cardenas of Espanola, NM.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Albuquerque Convention Center, 401 Second Street NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102.
Bob and Rose are originally from Clayton, NM, and moved to Albuquerque in February 1987. Later that year, they married in August and married for 38 years.
Bob worked for Servicon Systems and owned his own business, Duke City Maintenance. Being a businessperson from a young age, he also owned Bob's Phillips 66 and other business ventures.
Bob was one of a kind, hilarious, and full of life. No matter who you are, he was always cracking jokes. He was the life of the party, His hobbies included camping and riding motorcycles, and organizing trips with the motorcycle group "The Widas".
His word of wisdom was to live life to the fullest and know we all have an expiration date.
Bob will be missed and will leave us with many good memories.
